Bill Buckley

Bill Buckley has volunteered to serve the Northern Territory Community since 1971.

Bill is currently the President of the Darwin City Brass Band and has served with the band in playing and in an administrative capacity since 1983, initiating numerous fundraising activities and social functions. 

Since 1988, Bill has played Cornet with the Band.

Bill also has an ongoing involvement with the Return Services League Darwin since 1971, as Vice President for 11 years.

Bill is the RSL Master Of Ceremonies for events such as The annual Darwin Dawn Service; Remembrance Day Service; Dedication of the Eternal Flame at Darwin Cenotaph; and the internment of Vietnam Veteran, Corporal Reg Hillier at the Adelaide River War Cemetery,
