Bilawara conducts many 'Welcome To Country' and 'Smoking Ceremonies' here in Darwin.
Bilawara is a published author with two books to her credit, 'Star Dreaming' and 'Healing From The Dilly Bag'.
Since 2018, Bilawara has been working to revive the Larrakia language, songs and dance.
She has worked and participated in many roles, assisting and interacting as support and advisor.

• worked on the Governing Committee for the Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation
• Deputy Chair of the Top End NAIDOC Committee
• Supporting the Muslim Women's Support Group
• Member of the Multicultural Council Of NT
