Christine has been volunteering in Darwin for the last 16 years which includes:

2006-2009, A volunteer at the Red Cross Shop at Myilly Point, sorting and selling donated goods.

In 2009, Christine was recognised as a "Volunteer Of The Year by the Casuarina Square Management

2006-2010, Christine was volunteer for the NT Cancer Council

2006-2010, volunteered at the National Trust Burnett House, Myilly Point, setting up, preparing, serving and cleaning up after High Teas and 'open mic' afternoons.

2006-2010, Christine assisted at Government House for the Open Day Tours and serving afternoon teas.

2011-2019, a general volunteer for the Arafura Games

2016-2021, sorting returned books, stacking bookshelves for the Casuarina Library.

2006-2022, teaching migrants, 'Everyday English' at the Casuarina Library's Happy Migrants Learning Centre
