My name is Vanessa Lowe. I am the Founder of 'Come Talk With Me NT Inc.' This organisation initially started off as 'Come Walk With Me' after I lost my 16 year old son to suicide.

Mary DeLoryn has volunteered at my organisation since I set it up in 2015. Mary runs the roster for the Saturday 'Pop Up' Stall where people are invited to sit and chat. People like Mary who man the 'Pop Up' Stall act as a conduit to appropriate and professional help. We also have plenty of printed material on all aspects of Mental Health and can give references to appropriate organisations where professional help is available.

As humans, we need 'face-to-face contact otherwise our mental wellbeing deteriorates and the delivery of professional assistance can be compromised.

Mary's caring nature has helped many people seek the right advice in many different areas.

Not only does she volunteer each Saturday at the 'Pop Up' Stall, she also volunteers to assist at our annual walk, each 'World Suicide Prevention/Awareness Day Event in Palmerston.

Mary also visits people in hospital where she will do their nails or their hair and read to them. Mary is a very caring person, devoted to her roles and dedicated in assisting anyone who presents with an inquiry or a call for assistance.
