Jackie currently has the important role of Sponsorship and Media for Nightcliff Dragons Rugby League Club, a club she has been involved in for 51 years and is a Life Member of. The role of Media entails overseeing all information, daily running and schedules, events and game day rosters. Club communications include a Team Ap, Facebook Page, Messenger and NT News.

Jackie is the Club historian and has the club history buried within her heart. She reminds members regularly of the generations that she has seen and is still seeing, blossom within the club. Jackie's well known husband, Stem Edwards, is also a significant member of Dragons Rugby League, as have been their son, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. 

Nightcliff Dragons Rugby League Club events always benefit from Jackie's hard work, ensuring that all past and present members are invited.

Club fundraising BBQs are always that little bit more special due to Jackie's special flavours for which she is well known. Jackie is also known as the set¬up and pack-up co-ordinator at all Bunnings BBQs. On top of all this, Jackie also cooks up a storm at the monthly Player's Tea.

The de-commissioning of Richardson Park has seen Jackie taking a personal interest to campaign the NT Government who is demolishing the clubhouse, in the hope that she can keep its original history.

Jackie happily volunteers at least 20 hours per week for the 400 members of Nightcliff Dragons and is greatly admired by all for the time and the dedication she puts into the club.
