Diane is a National Trust Volunteer, volunteering at High Tea in Burnett House one
Sunday a month since it commenced(about 2000) and the Government House Open Day from 1995 to the present.
Diane is a Cancer Council Volunteer for Daffodil days from 2000 to the present.
Diane is the Editor of the residents' of Tiwi Retirement Village's bi-monthly newsletter, NEXUS. She is also an active volunteer in setting up and or judging various competitions (eg. Bake-offs) and various other events from 2014 to present.
Diane volunteers weekly as a Coffee Shop Attendant at Tiwi Gardens Nursing Home where she also coordinates the annual fund-raising fete.
Diane has been the Executive Officer of the Legacy Widows Club from 2010 to present day.
Diane was a committee member and volunteer of the Friends of the North Australia Railway at Adelaide River from 2010 to 2016.
Diane also volunteered as an usher for hockey tournaments at the Arafura Games in 2008 and 2012.
Diane was a committee member and treasurer of the NT Council of Ex-Service
Women and was involved in the coordinating committee for the Reunion of Ex-Service Women in 1985. This event attracted 950 WWII women veterans and won a Brolga Award for Tourism Excellence in the process.
