Marilyn is a tireless volunteer of the Palmerston Combined Probus Club. Marilyn joined Probus in 2013, following her retirement from Somerville working in Family Services.

In 2014 Marilyn joined the Executive Committee as Secretary and has been in this role ever since.

Throughout her time at Probus, she has worked tirelessly, not just as the Secretary but also assisting other members when they are unable. She has also planned dining-out activities, tours and assists with the Treasurers role.

Marilyn has a real passion for ensuring that the Palmerston Combined Probus Club runs smoothly and continues to grow from strength to strength.

Marilyn has said that she was planning to go and look at other seniors' groups, however found Probus and really enjoyed the people and the company there.

Prior to her retirement and involvement in Palmerston Combined Probus Club, Marilyn also volunteered for 5 years respectively on the Domestic Violence Committee and Homelessness Committee for the NT and Federal Governments.
