Mr Don Lockley - Leanyer

Don is a very active member of the Darwin community and has volunteered his services to a range of organisations including:

•         Don is currently a Group Leader of the Alawa Scouts and has contributed of 50 years of service to the Scouting movement.

•         He is a Group Support Leader of the Darwin Prostate Cancer Support Group.

•         He attends Moil Primary School on a weekly basis where he mends damaged books in the library.

•         He is the Patron and a Life Member of the St Mary's Hockey Club and has given more than 40 years service to the club and to hockey.

•         Don also established the YMCA in Darwin

Don continues to lead by example as an active Senior member of the community. Last year Don was the oldest participant in the Mitchell Street Mile. He has shown exemplary commitment to the community, volunteering his services in so many exceptional ways.
