Evonne Sharman - Anula NT
Evonne is a strong, dedicated and passionate volunteer for the Cancer Council NT. She is always there in times of need. According to our records, Evonne officially started as a volunteer for our organisation in 2010. Since that time she has been a staunch advocate of CCNT. She possesses a range of skills that have enabled her to
deliver in many ways as a volunteer. Not only has she assisted in fundraising activities by operating stalls at our national events including Pink Ribbon Day, Daffodil Day and Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, Evonne has also made herself available to assist in the Council's day to day functions and administrative office tasks.
Her vast knowledge of Ostomy Services has enabled us to deliver more effective levels of support to our Ostomy clients. As a client of our Ostomy Services herself, Evonne is able to provide one-on-one encouragement and support to other members by sharing her advanced knowledge and understanding of the service with them. Her dedication and passion in this way is an inspiration and had motivated many other members of the community to participate in the support group.
Everything Evonne does so tirelessy and with such commitment is greatly appreciated by the Cancer Council NT. She is inspiring in motivating community members to volunteer and join in the fight against cancer and for that we are so truly grateful.
Evonne Sharman is a fine example of a Senior Of Excellence and we all at CCNT support this nomination of her as a recipient of this Award.
