Mrs Cath Cockroft - Woodroffe NT 

Cath Cockroft is known affectionately throughout Palmerston as the lady who fills our bellies with endless amounts of fresh scones and coronation chicken sandwiches.

Cath, an outspoken and much loved character, has given years of service to the Northern Territory. She is an active member of the Palmerston Australia Day Committee, a role she has performed for 'more years than I care to remember', says Cath. She religiously attends the Palmerston 50+ Club and provides all of the morning teas and lunches. Cath also actively supports the Palmerston Seniors Week and Naidoc Week and regularly caters for the City Of Palmerston and the Palmerston Fishing Club. She is also an Ambassador for and has voluntarily supported ACTIVATE for many years.

Cath caters for large and small, official and social gatherings in and around Palmerston and is regarded as a very special and vibrant member of the community.

We all know and love Cath and could not think of a more deserving recipient of a Seniors Of Excellence award
