Mrs Joy Beck - Humpty Doo NT

Joy has worked for almost 15 years as a Tax Help Volunteer. This enables people on low incomes to be helped with their Tax Returns each year. Even people who have not completed Tax Returns for some time can be helped by Joy.

Joy has also worked at the Humpty Doo Bowls Club since its inception in 1991. She has held most of the positions in the club including President for many years. She is also a fine bowler and assists new members to get into the game.

She is a member of the local Aqua Aerobics Club that operates weekly at the Howard Springs Caravan Park.

Joy is also the Carer for her husband Col who has been wheel-chair bound for more than 5 years.

Joy is a long serving member of the Rural Community and continues to do important things that benefit the community at large.

Joy's continuing support of her community honors her as a recipient of a Seniors Of Excellence Award.
